Book has two ink marks on rear, gilt lettering on spine is dull, name "Carol" written in green ink on half title page, leaf previous to rear endpaper is creased at one side, boards seem to be worn or could be wartime material trouble. Illustrated with b&w plates, illustrated endpapers. Double sided map of Alaska in pocket. Index.
