Peter Woloszeniuk gives a first-hand account of surviving Soviet forces and the Nazi occupation. As he was only 14 when the Germans took him away Peter had to learn to survive by his own wits.
He was rescued by Allied troops and served with the Polish Army Corps organised in England.
He worked at several jobs in Britain before travelling to Canada. He now lives at Marsh Lake, Yukon.
