I reviewed this book when it appeared in hardcover a year ago. I mention it here again because the paperback edition actually has new content. There are interviews with Rufus Wainwright, Daniel Lanois, Broken Social Scene and Stompin’ Tom Connors,. In addition, there’s a new introduction in which Mersereau recounts some of the things he’s done as a result of the original edition.
They must have reset the book somehow, because this edition is slightly smaller in size than the original and has four fewer pages, but there’s more in it. It’s not often you can say that about a paperback edition.
