September is fall here in the Yukon. It is different from other parts of the world and I cannot explain it any better than the way Gus Karpes does in his new column - “September”. Give it a read to see and feel the experience of fall in the Yukon.
The Big News this month is we have the Dawson webcam back up and running so take a look from time to time at a Yukon fall and winter. We will let you know as next spring approaches as well to have a look as the ice goes out on the Yukon river. Also watch the site the camera is on get a fresh new look over the coming months.
We have also been updating our Yukon topo maps website. The maps at the 1-50,000 detail level are being updated to show more detail and make it much easier to make your map selections. Click here for a sample.

This is not a new book, however, there is a lot of buzz around it right now with the upcoming movie release of Sean Penn’s new movie of the same name, which he directed, based on the book.
